“Himalaya (You’d Better Kill Me As Long As You’re Behind Me)”

I woke up in my car in a black leather suit,
Lipstick blurs on my throat, smell of old wading pools.
She was praying her star to get back to her room
And I was fucking the road with my brain in a spoon.

She said “My bad,
It must have been the 5th mojito talking,
We can start a new life
If you just stop this freaking car…”
I said “Well, I don’t even know you but I like that skirt
Though, damn, I think you really look like my mum!”

We’ll take the last drops of this bleeding summer,
Here’s the road sign saying
That we got fucking lost again.
She said “Let me out!”
I said “You’d better shut up!
I ain’t gonna stop the wheels,
I ain’t gonna stop until I’m over the edge!”

She woke up in her blood, in a carpet of dust,
Bullet holes on the walls, smell of teenagers’ lust.
She was praying a god to get back on the road
And breathe that fucking storm
And shoot that goddamn ghost.

We’ll take the last drops of this bleeding summer,
Here’s the road sign saying
That we got fucking lost again.
She said “Let me out!”
I said “You’d better shut up!
I ain’t gonna stop the wheels,
I ain’t gonna stop until I’m over the edge!”
